Travel Guide: San Diego

San Diego is known for its amazing beaches, and Sunset CliffsScripps and La Jolla Cove are some of the best. Coronado is also an iconic white sand beach, and if you’re in the area you should grab a cone at MooTime Creamery. But 11th St in Del Mar is our favorite secret spot, just make sure to look both ways before you cross the train tracks!

Get your coffee fix at Philz CoffeeBetter BuzzPannikin or Lofty Coffee. There are a ton of cool new spots popping up, but some local favorites are T’s Cafe in Solana Beach for breakfast, and Board & Brew in Del Mar for a quick sandwich. You should also grab some tacos at The Taco Stand, and choose from 55 ice cream flavors handmade daily at Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream. Go to Mikkeller Brewing San Diego to try some creative brews and take some cute cans home from the Copenhagen-based company.

The best thing to do in San Diego is spend time outside! If you aren’t sunbathing, swimming, or surfing at the beach, take a walk through Torrey Pines State Reserve or drive out to the Potato Chip Rock hike for a cool view & photo op. If you’re looking for a workout class, the options are endless. There are Corepower YogaSoulCycleF45OrangeTheory, and Pure Barre studios throughout the area, to name a few.
